How to Clean Windows Using The “Box” Method
Supply List:

  • 1 Gallon Opti-Coat No Rinse* Cleaning Solution
  • Standard Dilution 256:1
  • A bucket of the solution is preferred but you can mix it in a spray bottle if needed
  • 1x Diamond Weave Towel
  • 1x Waffle Weave Towel

The Process! Step 1: Start on the inside of the driver door window

Saturate the diamond weave towel with the Opti-Coat No Rinse and ring out so it is damp. Using this towel go around the exterior of the glass as shown in diagram “A”

Step 2: “Fill in” the box you made in step one with the diamond weave towel by wiping the window in an up and down motion as in diagram “B”

Step 3: Using the waffle weave towel, repeat the motions of Step 1 & 2 to dry the window and finish the cleaning process.

Step 4: Repeat steps 1-3 for the opposite side of the glass that is still dirty.

PRO TIP: When cleaning windows, use a vertical wiping pattern on the inside and a horizonal pattern on the outside. If there are any streaks; their direction will indicate if they are on the inside or the outside of the window! Finally, repeat steps 1-4 until all glass is clean and streak free!
